RED SONJA FAN INK COVER SKETCH

A bold comic-style illustration of Red Sonja fills the frame with a raw, energetic punch. She stands in a fierce, almost mid-stride pose, sword lifted in one hand and a round shield angled forward, as if she’s just burst into the scene and is ready for anything. The red background feels hot and aggressive, making the black-and-white linework pop even more. Her long hair sweeps out around her in thick, flowing strands, adding a sense of motion that makes the whole image feel alive. The details in her armor, body, and weapons are gritty and hand-drawn, with heavy ink textures that give it an edgy, underground feel. There’s something unapologetic about the way she’s rendered—strong, battle-worn, and confident, with a dramatic comic-book attitude that’s hard to miss.
